Jacking system is the safest way to erect or lift tanks

• Auto floor jack, automotive floor jack and jack is the most reliable and fail safe device. Even in the case of hydraulic seal, the mechanical grip jaws arrest the downward movement of the jaws. It holds the jack at the same position on the trestle rod
• In the event of hose rupture during the lift, lifting should be stopped and the hose should be immediately replaced. The jacks never slip downwards with the load even if the hose bursts
• Before the final dispatch, each jack is load tested at 1.5 times its rated capacity and kept under load for 3 to 5 minutes. On special requests, the load test can be performed under the supervision of Third Party Inspection agency like Bureau Veritas, SGS, Germanischer Lloyd or the like
• Each jack is provided with two pairs of case hardened grip jaws fabricated from special grade of steel. At any given point of time, either one of the pairs is always engaged or locked. During lift both the pairs are in "locked" position. In this position, the jack is only allowed to move upwards
• Allows for easy removal of unsuitable material and replacement with suitable fill. A layer of minimum 75 mm thick compacted inside the concrete ring or crushed stone ring wall, clean sand aettled above the fill. The bearing pressure below the trestle base plate above the tank bottom plate shall be minimum 1.45 N / mm2, else the trestle base plate surface area shall be made larger
• On customer's request, the stability of tank under jacking is checked by design calculation considering major factors such as diameter, height, weight, and number of jacks used. The maximum safe wind speed for jacking is determined using these calculations
• While lifting the load using auto floor jack, automotive floor jack and jacks, an oil cushion if formed since all jacks are connected to each other hydraulically. This means that no single jack should be subject to excessive load
• In cases of uneven lifting, which at any time can be to the maximum extent of the stroke length of the jack (usually 100 mm), individual jacks can be shut off using a stop cock valve to make the adjustments during lifting
• On customer's request, motors and starters for powerpack are supplied with "CE" mark

Caution Notes

• The maximum LOAD on hydraulic jack SHALL NEVER EXCEED the safe working load
• Arc spacing between trestle SHALL NOT EXCEED 3.00 m, otherwise immediately contact Technical support
• If the ratio of Height to Diameter is more than 1, seek assistance for Technical support
• Safe bearing capacity above the tank bottom plate (below the trestle base plate) shall be minimum 1.45 N/mm2
